Sustainability Governance Structure

The Company’s Sustainability program is overseen by the board-level Sustainability Committee, composed of at least three members as determined by the Board. The committee exercises responsibility for environmental, social, and economic topics that are material to the firm.  This includes setting Key Result Areas (KRAs) for each of the business units, executives, and employees of the company related to ESG and Sustainability.  Employee and business unit performance are measured against these KRAs which are the basis for annual performance incentives such bonuses, merit increase and promotions.  Sustainability KRA accounts for 5% to 10% of the total KRA.

As directed by the Sustainability Committee, the Ayala Land Corporate Sustainability Team executes relevant projects and imperatives in support of the Sustainability Focus Areas, including the Net Zero and Circularity programs. The Sustainability Team also cascades the KRA targets and implementation plan of the Sustainability Roadmap throughout the organization.

The various business units also have their own sustainability leads who are tasked with integrating and implementing sustainability initiatives.
