Pangulasian Island, the only Philippine resort on Conde Nast Traveler’s 2017 Gold List

Jan. 10, 2017

The only island resort in the Philippines that made it to the coveted 2017 Gold List of Conde Nast Traveler, Pangulasian Island has been recognized anew in the magazine’s “Our Favorite Beach Resorts in the World” list. The resort received the same citation in 2016 and  is also among the Top Resorts in Asia according to the recently concluded Reader’s Choice Awards.

Pangulasian Island is the most luxurious of the four El Nido Resorts properties. Known as the “Island of the Sun”, it has breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset. The resort is set fronting a pristine beach against a backdrop of tropical forest with a marine sanctuary right at its doorstep. It has a total of 42 villas which blend contemporary Filipino and cutting-edge ‘green’ design, matched with well appointed amenities and impeccable service.

Conde Nast Traveler is the most trusted and celebrated name in travel with six National Magazine awards and 26 nominations to date. Its Gold List recognizes hotels and resorts all over the world, which Conde Nast editors and contributors visit time and time again and daydream about long after checkout. “This year’s Gold list is a collective love letter to all of those hotels and resorts around the world that set the standard for a life well-lived,” said Conde Nast Traveler Editor-in-chief, Pilar Guzman. The Reader’s Choice Awards, meanwhile, was participated by 300,000 travelers worldwide, who submitted their ratings to help create the list of winning favorites.
